Creative Clay for Kids is an introduction to using your hands and imagination to creating unique clay artwork. Riverbottom Pottery teaches the basics including technique, process and art form. We incorporate nature and everyday objects in creating a fun and positive learning experience. Designed with your child’s ability level in mind, projects include using coil, slab and pinch pot and free form techniques. This year, we will be creating projects such as Pinch Pot Creatures, Funny Hair Planters and Slab Built Wind Chimes. Students will be encouraged to use their imagination in creating great clay pieces. Our number one goal is for each child to have fun working with clay.
